It is best to plan at least a couple of weeks in advance in order to obtain pet sitting services on the dates you desire. It is recommended to reserve overnight requests as far in advance as possible, as availability is limited. An in-home meet and greet appointment is required prior to reservations, for all new clients. While we can tentatively pencil in your dates, we must meet with you and your pet(s) to determine your needs before we make a commitment to providing care for your pet(s).

Meet and Greet

An initial meet n greet is required and complimentary. The meeting is up to 1 hour. If you require additional meetings prior to services so your pup can get more acquainted with a sitter or your care instructions have changed, we are more than happy to accommodate at a rate of $25/hour. Meet and Greet appointments are typically reserved for business hours Monday-Friday.

Visit Time Requests

All visit requests are assigned to a 2 hour window. We appreciate your flexibility, as pets can often be unpredictable throughout the day. If you need a more specific time, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate when possible.

Visit Priority

While we do our best to accommodate all time requests, please understand some animals have more urgent needs than others. When we schedule morning visits, pets needing timely medications and dogs requiring potty breaks are given priority. All other animals will be scheduled to follow. The opposite holds true for the last visits of the evening. If you need a specific early AM time or late PM time due to special circumstances not detailed above, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Vacation Visit Minimums

All pets must be visited at least once per day. For the well being of the unattended pets, we will not allow every-other-day-visits. Pets can become hurt or ill very quickly. It is equally important that the home environment be checked daily in the event the pet has caused damage or is in distress due to circumstances such as a beeping smoke detector/alarm, malfunctioning A/C, break ins, etc.

Last Minute Reservations

Last minute events happen and we will do our best to assist with your needs! Because schedules need to be reviewed and shuffled to accommodate last minute service requests, a $2 per visit surcharge will be applied to:

  • Vacation pet sitting (client is away from home overnight) service requests made within 4 days of your departure. This charge will apply to the services scheduled for the first 3 days of your pet sitting requests.
  • Daily pet sitting/dog walking (client is home in morning and evening) service requests made within 18 hours of the service request.


At the discretion of PerPETual Love Pet Sitting, deposits may be required in advance for trips scheduled during busy times, holidays, or for extended stays. Half of the invoice is due two months in advance, with balance due one month in advance. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation policy does not apply.

Extended Absence

In the event you have to be away longer than planned or are experiencing travel delays, it is mandatory that we hear from you! The well being of your pet(s) depends on our communication. Charges for any unpaid additional care will be invoiced upon your return and is due within 2 days. A last minute reservation request fee may apply.


We understand that things happen that cause plans to change. Once we have scheduled and confirmed your service request, a fee may apply for cancellations to compensate pet sitters for time they set aside for your appointments. Any remaining balance for cancelled prepaid services will be credited to your account for future pet sitting needs. Cancellation policy does not apply to required deposits due or any reservation requiring deposits.

  • Vacation pet sitting (client is away from home overnight) cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled visit will incur a fee of $10 per daily visit or $40 per overnight. Cancellations within 48 hours of services will be charged the full rate. Cancellation fees will be applied to all remaining services for trips cut short.
  • Daily pet sitting/dog walking (client is home in morning and evening) cancellations within 12 hours of the scheduled service will incur a fee of $10 per service.


A surcharge of $10 will apply to each visit ($25 for overnight stays) on the following holidays:

  • Presidents Day Weekend (Friday - Monday)
  • Spring Break Weeks
  • Easter Weekend (Friday - Sunday)
  • Memorial Day Weekend (Friday - Monday)
  • Independence Day Week
  • Labor Day Weekend (Friday - Monday)
  • Columbus Day Weekend (Friday - Monday)
  • Veterans Day Weekend (Friday - Monday)
  • Thanksgiving Week (Wednesday - Sunday)
  • Christmas/New Years Week

Home Access

Electronic access such as a garage code or door key pad is preferred. Another great option is using a lock box, which we do offer for purchase for your convenience. Sharing house keys with us is also acceptable and allowing keys to be kept on file for future use is preferred (please see Keys).


If choosing to share house keys with us for home access, we require 2 copies of the key during the initial visit, to ensure uninterrupted service. We are happy to make a copy with your permission for a fee of $3. For the convenience of future services and to enable online/telephone reservations, we are happy to keep your keys on file. Keys are kept in a safe, secure location and are never marked with any identifiable information. Should you request to have your key picked up or returned, a $10 trip charge will be incurred.


We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Bank Account ACH, check, and cash. You have the ability to store a credit card to your account online. With your permission, we are happy to charge this card automatically when invoice is generated. A $5/day fee will be applied to late payments. A $30 fee will be charged for any returned check.

  • Vacation pet sitting (client is away from home overnight) payments are due on the first day of service.
  • Daily pet sitting/dog walking (client is home morning and evening) payments are due within 7 days of invoice. Invoices are auto-generated on a recurring schedule, monthly or bi-monthly.

Unattended Pet(s)

While there is nothing we love more than spending time with your pets, all sitters typically do have other obligations and life tasks to attend to. We ask that pets can be left home alone for a minimum of 4-5 hours at any given time. We are happy to discuss any special requests and will do our best to accommodate on a case-by-case basis.

Unsecured Pet(s)

Fenced or walled in yards are great play areas and potty spaces for pets, however, a fence/wall system is never totally secure. PerPETual Love Pet Sitting LLC will not accept liability for any unattended pets with free roaming access to the outside in the event of illness, injury, loss, or death. It is strongly advised that all pet(s) have some form of permanent ID.


We understand that others (friends, family, housekeeper, another sitter, etc) may have access to your home and pets during your absence. Please notify your sitter of all planned visitors. We are happy to work with you to accommodate these situations, however please understand this will affect our insurance and bond policy, possibly resulting in a denied claim. PerPETual Love Pet Sitting LLC cannot be held responsible for the actions of others with simultaneous access to your home and pets.


Tips are not expected, but are certainly appreciated. 100% of your tip goes directly to your sitter!

Pet Pictures

We love showing off your adorable sweet pets! Please let us know if you do not want us to use pictures of your pets on our website or business social media pages. We always make sure no identifying features are used in any marketing effort, so your privacy is protected.

Home Cleaning

Our sitters are focused on the comfort, care, and happiness of your pets. We will do our best to clean pet messes, pick up poop, sweep around food bowls and litter boxes. Overnight sitters respect your home, cleaning up after themselves and the spaces they use. Laundry such as bedsheets and towels is complimentary, but not guaranteed. Sitters are not responsible for excessive pet hair, reasonably soiled floors (caused by pets), or whole house cleaning. For extended trips, we recommend that clients schedule a professional cleaning service to clean a day or two prior to clients return. Sitters are happy to coordinate entry to the home with these cleaning services.


Sitters are happy to care for houseplants and outdoor potted plants as instructed, but are not responsible for plant deaths. Weather changes, plant health, and miscommunication can all be factors outside of our control.
